The shipment recovered from Incident Site NS-26 was not carrying conventional medical supplies.
Its contents have been traced to an experimental biomedical research programme known as:
PROJECT LAZARUS
Much of the programme remains classified.
What survived tells us enough.
01 - THE PROGRAMME
Project Lazarus began as an experimental treatment designed to regenerate neural tissue following catastrophic injury.
The objective was simple.
Prevent irreversible brain death.
Early laboratory trials produced results researchers had never seen before.
Severely damaged neural cells began repairing themselves.
Previously inactive neurological pathways restarted.
Organ function resumed.
For a brief period, Project Lazarus appeared to have achieved something extraordinary.
Then the subjects began to change.
02 - LX-731

LX-731 was developed during the later stages of Project Lazarus.
The compound dramatically accelerated cellular regeneration following severe neurological trauma.
But regeneration came at a cost.
Researchers documented progressive deterioration of the areas of the brain responsible for:
Memory
Language
Reasoning
Emotional regulation
Impulse control
Meanwhile, primitive neurological functions remained active.
Movement.
Feeding.
Aggression.
Survival.
03 - SUBJECT ZERO
The surviving research records repeatedly reference one unidentified test subject.

Researchers initially recorded the trial as a successful resuscitation.
Eleven minutes later the laboratory entered emergency lockdown.
The remainder of the incident report is missing.
04 - THE SIDE EFFECT
Recovered notes suggest Project Lazarus did not restore the human brain.
It restored only enough of it to keep the organism functioning.
Higher cognitive function disappeared.
Primitive behaviour remained.
One researcher described the process in a handwritten observation:
"We're not bringing them back."

05 - TRANSMISSION
This is where Project Lazarus stopped being a medical experiment.
Researchers discovered LX-731 could replicate inside living tissue.
Exposure initially required direct contact with contaminated biological material.
Later trials recorded transmission through:
Blood
Saliva
Other bodily fluids
And eventually...

According to the recovered shipping manifest, one refrigerated container left the facility.
It never reached its destination.
Instead, at 11:36 PM, it was delivered to a cinema in Takapuna.
The destination printed on the original transport order has been removed.
Not crossed out.
Not corrected.
Removed.
THE UNANSWERED QUESTION
Investigators initially classified the delivery to the cinema as a courier error.
Recovered digital records now contradict that conclusion.
The delivery address was changed shortly before LX-731 left the facility.
The credentials used to authorise the change belonged to:
